New Years Eve Celebrations Austrian Style
In Austria it is common to melt lead over a flame and then tip it quickly into a bowl of cold water then interpret the shape that is created once cool. This interpretation will tell you what the new year has in store for you. As lead has now been banned, the shapes you start with are now made of zinc. Loads of fun!
Fireworks for New Year Celebrations
Rooftop of Carina's parent's house to watch the fireworks! I've never seen so many impressive displays at once! They went for an hour or more just in peoples back gardens! Apparently in Austria alone €10million was spent by the public on fireworks!!!!
On the roof waiting for midnight. We had the radio on and counted down from 20!
