Oceanografic, Valencia Spain - 11 February 2020

Today the 11th, was our first day in Valencia and we visited the Oceanografic Aquarium recommended as a 'must see' by Brad's work colleague Aaron and his partner Maz - thanks guys

This is Europe's largest aquarium and it was AMAZING and well worth the money. €140 for our family of four to go to Oceanografic, Science Museum and Hemisferic IMAX.

Highlights for us - sea lions, seals, turtles, dolphins, beluga whales. The whole complex was amazing, inside and out. Not disappointed at all!

Below are some photos to sum it all up!

Spider crab

There are two spider crabs here. The one in the front is huge! Probably about 60cm wide with his legs!

Strange looking things at the bottom of this tank!

Find the fish!

Here's another odd looking fish!

Not sure what this one is!

Turtle

type of jellyfish. If you look closely the bottom of this tank is almost covered in them!

Moray eel, 3m long

All the coral in this tank was actually taken from a reef in the Caribbean and grown here. It is not a replication of coral.
