Flamenco dancing, free show.
Seville Cathedral
Just inside the Cathedral door of Seville's massive cathedral stands a monument to Christopher Columbus. His tomb is held aloft by four allegorical figures representing the four kingdoms of Spain during Columbus' life, Castille, Aragon, Navara, and Leon.
Looking up underneath the tomb.
It was a cool walk to the Giralda (bell tower) of Seville Cathedral.  At 104m high it wasn't steps we walked up, instead a series of ramps wind around the perimeter of several vaulted chambers at the tower's core to take you to the top.
You can see the city's bull ring (centre left) in the above picture.
Close up of the bull ring.
Very interesting trees indeed! There were two of them and they were HUGE!

El Rocio

On the drive from our campsite to El Rocio we saw some cool bird life and fields full of cactus plants (below).
The town of El Rocio itself is a strange town - it seems like something straight from a Wild West movie, with wide, sandy streets lined with houses complete with broad wooden rails for tying up horses. It is famous for its annual Romería, the Rocio Pilgrimage at Pentecost when it is overflowing with more than a million pilgrims, who either arrive on foot or with horses and decorated carts.

Many of the larger buildings here are dedicated to the various Hermandades (Brotherhoods), which have increased to 117 in total, and are really only used at the time of the Pilgrimage.
Our car parked in the centre of the photo above.
This is one of the 'Brotherhood' houses. Each has its own chapel.
Ermita de Nuestra Señora de El Rocío (church)
El Rocio is situation beside a large wetlands area popular for birdwatchers. We saw a few interesting ones (below). There are normally flamingos here, however they were way in the distance so we could really see them well.
