Lock down in the UK - Part 3: 1 - 11 May 2020

2 May

Nico hand feeding Harry and Hermione!

A digger we saw on our walk.

A ship on the Severn River having just left Sharpness Dock.

Close up of the ship.

Part of the public pathway (above and below).

Believe it or not there is a pathway ahead!

Retired Royal Mail train near the old Berkeley power station.

Some more photography in the garden (above and below).

The chook house is looking very flash now, thanks to Cale and Chris' work!

Harry!

6 May

Looking up the Severn River. This river is the longest in Great Britain (220 miles or 354 km) and has by far the greatest water flow in England and Wales. It rises one foot every five minutes when the tide is coming in!  At a high spring tide it will rise 10 metres!

Looking towards the Severn Bridges connecting England and Wales.

Severn River (above and below).

These are huge muddy streams inlets/outlets that run into the Severn River. The look quite cool.

7 May

Sharpness Docks. This port is one of the most inland ports in England.

This is the lock at Sharpness Basin. To the left is the Severn River, so this is where the river meets the the basin. You can see in the distance, in the picture below, the red tug boat.

8 May

In the orchard, a labyrinth spider web with the morning dew on it.

Two of the doves in the garden.

Hmmm, we're trying to get rid of you and your family!

Joey and either Meghan or Matilda

9 May

Hermione, Harry and Ginny!

Collie Dog

The roses have started to come out.
Progress with the peas!
