Cheddar Gorge and Wells, Somerset, England: 5 June 2020

Cheddar and Cheddar Gorge

A beautiful wee town where cheddar cheese originates.

We walked, or rather hiked up a track that was fairly rough with loose rocks and lots of exposed tree roots. There we steps on some parts, however much of these had been washed away.  The views from up the top were beautiful though.

On our drive up the Cheddar Gorge there were loads of people that looked to be either practicing rock climbing on the lower rocks by the roadside, or perhaps learners.  Unfortunately I couldn't get a good photograph to post.

Views over the countryside with the lovely fences down the left.

To the right of this house is the public pathway for the beginning of our walk.
