Warwick Castle and Birds of Prey Show: 20 July 2020

We had planned to visit Warwick Castle on our original agenda, however Covid put a stop to that early on!  Thankfully, Warwick Castle opened it gates once again to tourists from last week, so after our return from London we booked tickets to visit today!  The real bonus was, finding out they also have a Birds of Prey display on daily!!

The day was spent wandering the beautiful grounds, seeing the peacocks, watching both Birds of Prey shows, visiting inside the castle, and walking along the walls of the castle.

The Birds of Prey show was great! The kids enjoyed it so much we had to watch the same show again during the afternoon!  Sadly the peregrine falcon was not on display today, due to wild ones nesting nearby.  Nico was disappointed that he couldn't see the fastest bird in the world at 390km p/h, as well as the fastest member of the animal kingdom.

After a lovely day wandering through the grounds and castle, we headed back to Berkeley.
