Landmark Forest Adventure Park, Carrbridge, Scotland

We drove a short distance to Landmark Park, which is a big adventure park. I'll admit, I wasn't super excited about today, however on entry to the park, I changed my mind! It was really cool!

There were many areas to the park, including Dinosaur Kingdom, Butterfly House, Sky Dive, High Ropes, Rock Climbing, Vortex Tunnel, an illusions section and a forest walk where we saw rare red squirrels, although we only saw one clearly and two others up running around up in the trees.

By far the highlight of the day was the SkyDive! It comprises of two climbing masts which rise from the forest floor to approximately 50 feet up in the pine canopy. At the top there are two platforms capable of taking one person at a time. Powerfan descenders, similar to those used by Hollywood stuntmen are used for the decent.

The boys also enjoyed the high ropes and Nico loved the rock climbing wall. A days entertainment for £72 - no extra cost for any of the activities once inside!
