Mum and Dad have made all our beds, unpacked some things, put all the groceries away that I'd ordered, and put up 'Welcome Home' banners and balloons!! A surprise delivery of beautiful flowers from my amazing work colleagues arrived soon after.
Mum cooked us dinner and we just chatted about various things while I unpacked essential items from our suitcases.
It feels strange, but good to finally be home after nine months!!
The following day, after dropping our rental vehicle over to Napier, we visited Brad's parents for afternoon tea. It was great to see them!
Our caravan is en-route to NZ and should arrive in Napier around 31 October which is super exiting! In the meantime, lots to unpack, sort and wash!
Thank you so much to everyone who supported us during a difficult time, we really appreciate all your messages of support and encouragement, during what was at times, very very unpredictable and stressful!
So, after nine months, I will sign off with my final blog.
